Dolby Atmos is the fastest growing audio format. It gives stereo mixes new life by wrapping the sound field around the listener. Dolby Atmos uses binaural rendering to create an immersive surround sound experience, even in headphones!
-
The first step is to contact us directly through our email provided on this site. After we assess your needs you will receive an email to a dropbox folder dedicated to your project. You will download your stems along with a finished master stereo version (for length and reference).

You will receive a BIN file that you can use to listen to your Atmos mix using your headphones on any device. BIN files can only be played through headphones. The most popular listening method is an iPhone paired with AirPods. Go to "Settings" and scroll down to the Apple Music icon. In the "Settings" option you will see "Audio". Set to Dolby Atmos "Automatic" and then exit settings. Now when you listen to Apple Music it will play your selection in Atmos through the AirPods. (if the track selected is available as a Dolby Atmos mix)
-
You will receive two files from us. The larger file is your ADM.wav file. The ADM file cannot be played outside of an Atmos studio. This file is to be delivered to your distributor. The second smaller file is a BIN file. This file can be played on all of your devices using headphones only.
-
The larger ADM file should be uploaded to your music distributor. The smaller BIN file can be listened to by you, using Headphones Only.
-
Currently any device with headphones can play immersive audio in it’s binaural state using headphones. The quality of the experience is directly related to the quality of the headphones.
